Have a Yahoo Draft tomorrow, the roster is QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, IR

When going into roster setup, I don't see a lot of discussion in the "Perfect Draft" articles with setting up rosters. Would anyone care to give some tips? I assume 1 QB, 1TE, 1K, 1D, for max, then what, 6 RB max, 5 WR max, and leave bench at 0?

Yeah, 2, 5, 5, 2, 1, 1 makes perfect sense.

I use the max numbers to try and emulate my league. If I don't know my league well enough, I make some assumptions.

Like, you can probably assume most fantasy owners will draft 2QB and 2TE. So I'd set it for that. You don't want to set 1 or 3 because it'll skew one way or another the players that are drafted in that 9-15 round range.

RB and WR, I would probably just put 6 max for both. It's unlikely that the software teams will look to fill that roster more than they'll look to get value within the confines of the parameters you set. D/ST and K should be 1 for sure, QB and TE at 2, and then you should be good.

Thanks. Im assuming 15 rounds, and by your #'s, it would set the max roster value column at 18 (2qb,6wr,6rb,2te,1d,1k) so Maybe 2,5,5,2,1,1 ?
