I watch the NFL. network and MJD expects D. Washington to get the rock a lot VS Chicago this week. My question is with him being a two down back and the recent signing of Bell will he become the goal line / first second down back. As an owner of R. Mathews I read a recent post response regarding swapping J. Howard for R. Mathews as he is part of a 4 RBBC in Philly depending if he is injured and or the like to spread the ball around. Howard was claimed in our std scoring league, so missed out. Then there is W. Smallwood who is part of the committee and a long shot at being the #1 but Sproles is older and may not make it past week 11 if they keep giving him off tackle carries in the red zone.

WEll Bell signed with Chicago, so I think Washington is poised to get a bulk of the carries, esp. since Riddick didn't do much with his chance last week. I still like to wait and see on guys like Washington, but if you need him I think he'll be ok.

Smallwood is a guy to maybe stash a while. I'm not sure what the Eagles are going to do at RB. They say Mathews is still the starter but week 2 he got less carries than Sproles and Mathews was supposedly healthy. Looks more like a committee to me with they trying them take advantage of the whatever defense they are playing - kind of like the Patriots for a while a few years back. Smallwood is worth owning if you believe Mathews is going to get hurt.
