i have both of these guys and I'm wondering how to figure out when to play them. I'm told to play Blount when the Pats are expected to demolish their opponents and I'm told to play Hurns when the Jags are expecting to play a shutdown corner (making it difficult for Robinson.)

I tried looking at the aFPA's and it's not exactly clear when I should play them. Are there other rankings on this site I can look at? Or can you guys suggest which weeks to play them? :)

That's a good basic strategy. We can only give our opinions but can't make any promises in terms of helping you!

I think I would trust Blount a little more just based on the offense as a whole. Pats should never really be out of games but I think with their RBs it just depends on the matchup. Like when they pounded the Colts last year in the regular season they saw something that made Gray a good option at RB, then we never hear from him again. Blount also hurt them in the playoffs so they must have saw a weakness up the middle. So we can only pretend to know what's in their game plan.

I think are both decent, lower end RB2/WR2 plays at their respective positions. Robinson will likely always see the top corner so we can't always buy into that. I would say if you have guys with much better matchups to go with them, but if it's close, maybe you can let those basic factors you listed above sway you toward playing one or both of them.
