1. I currently have Bortles as my only QB. I was about to drop DeAndre Washington for Chiefs D due to their match ups after this week. I have Eagles D as my current D. Now I think I need to use that spot (my only spare spot due to Dez and Moncrief) to claim Ben. If he is out the max 6 weeks it is a waste but if it is only 2-3 it is well worth it. I am very low on FAAB so this may be moot, but should I claim Ben?
2. Should I replace Eagles with Chiefs this week? Or hope I can get them next week?
3. If I can't get Ben should I pick up Kaep as backup qb?
No issues getting Ben. From what we've heard, he'll be back Week 9 despite the timetable of 4-6 weeks. As an owner myself, I hope what we're hearing is correct. Either way, worth a claim. I don't think Kaep is a horrible backup plan as a guy to keep around to see if he can get back to his old self. I think you can live with the Eagles as your D for the longer term if that saves you some money or a move in order to get Ben or Kaep.
