Hey guys, I plan on dropping Gordon tomorrow as it seems more likely that hes out the year and was wondering your opinion on what I should do

1Q, 2R, 3W, F, K, D Standard 12 man. Waiver is updated weekly and is reverse the standings that week. I wont be near the bottom so I will probably never get a top waiver pick.

Should I handcuff Lacy or pick up an upside sleeper pick like Kelce, James White, etc.

QB-Brady
RB-Lacy, Morris, CJ1k, Rice, Ingram
WR-Cobb, Roddy, Sanders, Watkins, Britt
TE-Bennett

I am not thrilled with my WR corp and TE. Too many unknowns for me but WRs were flying off the board in my draft. Your thoughts?

Some names available:
RB: Dunbar, McCluster, Hillman, Knile, Helu, D. Brown, J. White, Starks
WR: Tavon, Dobson, G. Jennings, Cotchery, Denarius, Washington, Marqise, Douglas
TE: Delanie, Kelce, Cook, Graham, Ebron, Fleener, Eifert, Allen, Richard Rodgers (starting?)

I am lean towards Starks (Handcuff) or Kelce (Upside?) Thanks guys.

I'm fine with Starks, I'm also fine with hanging on to Gordon until we know if he's suing the league and can play temporarily. If you had a glaring need or someone on waivers was popping out at me, then I might feel differently, but for now, I don't think any of those guys is a must add, making dropping Gordon unnecessary.

If you still want to though, then the handcuff makes sense, as does White, Hillman, or Jennings, in that order.

Problem with the Lacy handcuff is I'm not sure Starks gets the full workload if Lacy goes down. They've been raving about Harris and really all three backs have looked good.

I think there's a couple directions you can go. RBs like Hillman and White could be guys who end up having bigger roles either for injuries or in White's case if the team cuts Ridley. Like I said about Starks, I've seen nothing that says he's the handcuff because Harris has looked just as good, but if Lacy goes down and you get Starks he probably could at least be a flex play.

As for WR Jennings could help you right away or Douglas could be a nice handcuff if Roddy gets hurt again. I've been asked a few questions about Douglas from guys who own Roddy or Julio.

At TE you can take a chance on Kelce or Ebron but it's hard to say what kind of roles they will have right now.

So it really depends on what you want: someone to possibly help now, handcuff or sleeper.

Thanks guys. I was leaning Starks because I know GB doesnt really like using Rookies. I thought the same with BB in NE regarding White but I have read that Ridley is on the bubble so that might something interesting.

I was also shying away from Douglas because, unless I read it wrong, Roddy has only missed 3 games in his whole career... all last year. Maybe I glanced at it wrong though.

I think I am looking sleeper or handcuff. I think my starters are sufficient if healthy. I dont think anyone will be picking up any of the guys mentioned, other than maybe Kelce due to the hype, so maybe I'll wait until closer to week 1. Thanks guys!
