I tend to be a little nervous with guys coming off an injury, so if you have another tight end option that's more of a sure thing, I'd like to go that way instead of waiting for a game time decision on Sunday night. Obviously, if things change between now and then, Thomas may be more of a certain play. For now, it seems like it's 50/50.

I would roll with Herron, who is more versatile and should get at least as many touches between carries and catches.
