I have a good team, but I keep losing with the 2nd best weekly point total so I'm heading towards pick 1.1 or 1.2 coming up in the rookie draft. Another team fighting for the playoffs and I talked about this and I offered the following trade:

I give Marshall, I get Maclin and 1st round pick.

Seems like a good deal to me, I do believe Marshall has a few (3 probably) good years left but it leaves me with 3 picks before #12 at worst (my 1st and early 2nd, plus their 1st) to add to the following key players:
QB:Stafford
RBs: J Charles, Ellington, K Davis, A Williams, D Robinson, Hillman, J Gray, D Herron
WRs: D Adams, Moncrief, J Matthews, M Floyd (ARI), R Randle, Boldin, Hawkins, Hunter, Edelman.

He offered E Sanders initially, but I like Maclin more because he could be moving teams after this year and is a few years younger than Marshall. Sanders is having a great year, but post Manning I don't see him as outperforming Maclin. Thoughts on it as a whole? Maclin vs Sanders in the deal?
Thanks for your help and time.

I think you talked to me about this one before, or someone else did with a similar trade. But I like it. I think long term, all the players involved have some risk associated with them. Short term, I think Maclin will stay a top receiver and I like Marshall... I kind of think it's a wash. I love picking up a first round pick in a dynasty league in this situation. Maybe you can grab Amari Cooper.

Thanks Scott. I thought that I had asked last week when I talked with the other team but I couldn't find it anywhere in the archives.
