I've been holding him in most leagues, but I've been lucky enough to not find myself in a situation where I NEED to drop him.

If the decision is because there are no waiver moves after Week 9, then I'd go ahead and drop him if there's someone solid on waivers. I don't think I'd drop him for another upside guy though, just a guy who would definitely be worth inserting into your lineup.

If the reason is because you need the roster spot, then it's hard not to drop him. I like holding on to him, but if I suddenly got a barrage of injuries, he'd be the guy I'd drop.
