With all respect for John Paulsen I am really gnashing my teeth with J Cameron who has had but one good game with one TD and one other that he actually had fantasy points. We are talking week 8 here and it's time to fish or cut bait as they say. After a disappearing act in week seven I am concerned especially since the wheels have started to come off of Hoyer. I also have Kelce who had 3 points (STD) in week 7 due to lack of targets. I am starting Kelce this week but I think that Escobar will get his usual one on one match ups VS undersized D backs. Witten is Tony's usual go to guy but a Washington def. stacking the box with a suspect secondary makes Escobar an enticing start. For a guy that can get down the field I think Gavin has starter in his future with the C boy's next season for sure. Do I cut Cameron or Kelce to put a guy who actually scores on my roster? One thinks that maybe when J Gordon comes back J Cameron will be better because of last year but Cameron tailed off even with Gordon. I do have an option to put Cameron on the IR till next season so as to keep him in our AV based keeper type league.

I think the IR idea is a good one. Kelce is solid enough to stick with the rest of this year, and Escobar has enough upside to gamble on as a backup.
