I have an offer to give up Cobb and get D. Thomas. In Trader's Alley you recommend Cobb as bait for Thomas. However, I am hesitant to pull the trigger. Cobb has significantly outperformed Thomas so far. I know all the reasons that Thomas should definitly get better. However, I seeno indicators that Cobb's production should decline very much. Given all the mouths to feed in Denver, I could easily see Cobb continuing to outperform Thomas. I also like Cobb's schedule a little better than Thomas's. Am I missing something?

You're talking about top guys, so if Cobb makes you feel better, that's fine.

The thinking behind this is that Cobb is a step down from the elites, and with Cobb outperforming expectations and Thomas underperforming expectations, our thinkings is that things will steadily revert back to normal. Of course, the problem is always there that this is the new reality, which adds some risk.

I tend to believe that up is still up for the time being and that Thomas will sooner or later emerge as the top 3 fantasy wideout he is.
