I received this trade offer. I improve on TE, but lose a lot at RB position. What are your thoughts?
Matt Forte and Greg Olsen for Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston.
Standard 10-team, ESPN, Non-PPR league
Here is my roster:
QB: Foles
RB: Forte, Bernard, Ellington, Ball, K. Davis, McKinnon
WR: Decker, Hopkins, B. Cooks, J. Gordon, Marvin Jones
TE: Olsen, Cameron
I'm not opposed to the trade. I might try for a more consistent player than Colston since you're giving up two viable starters and he's only giving up one. But I think the trade helps you since you have incredible RB depth and are thin at WR.
I think you can survive with the backs you're left with. Ball's schedule eases up eventually. Colton a nice addition to your WRs too. Non PPR makes it a tiny bit easier to lose Forte...
I do think you can be fine most weeks with Olsen. If for some reason your lineup allows you to start 4 RBS I wouldn't do it. If you can start 3 I think you'd still be in good shape with the 3 left. If you can only start 2 of those, think I'd definitely do it. So overall, probably do it, but easy for me to say!
Start 2rb, 2wr, and a flex.
So based off roster configurations you are saying go for it, correct?
Also, I would have three players from the Saints.
