OK guys I need a look forward on a subject that should have more clarity.
I have Edelman as a third wide out on my roster requiring two WR each week. Do you concur with Rotoworld's downside of him? Is he a true #1 or a #2. Would you drop him for V. Cruz or D. Hopkins who is tied in scoring with Edelman in std formats. RotoWorld:
Julian Edelman had 10 catches for 84 yards in Sunday's Week 3 win over Oakland.
Analysis: Edelman's 13 targets led the Patriots, and he was the clear No. 1 option. It was his fourth career game with at least 10 receptions. Edelman's only downside is he that continues to lose looks to Rob Gronkowski and Shane Vereen in the red-zone. He's a WR2 with upside in PPR formats.
Rotoworld: D. Hopkins: He was targeted nine times on the day. Hopkins could have had a much bigger day, but he had an incredible 53-yard catch called back on an illegal formation penalty. Hopkins might be putting himself into the WR3 mix, but we're more comfortable with him in the WR4 range. He has a plus matchup at home against the Bills in Week 4. Hopkins is clearly the No. 2 or 3 option in the pass game.Rotoworld: Cruz reeled in 5-of-6 targets Sunday. The Giants' passing game has found a bit of a rhythm the past two weeks. They'll look to continue it Thursday against the Redskins. Cruz is a solid WR2/3.

I don't trust the Texans offense, and I think Edelman is the safer player compared to Cruz. I like Cruz, and I think he could certainly be a top option, but I think that Edelman has become Tom Brady's most trusted WR... something that should never be overlooked.

I think I'd say Edelman is 1a and Cruz is 1b. Do you only have three receivers on your roster? Because I would probably try to keep both Cruz and Edelman as your WR3 and WR4 if you can.

I would keep Edelman! Cruz maybe but with Eli throwing him the ball...? I use Rotoworld for up to the minute news only. Player evaluations I leave for John and the 4for4 scouts.... =)
