WR Ramses-barden" class="player_name_link">Ramses Barden has officially signed back with the Giants, according to a source.

Fantasy Impact:

It's probably not a coincidence that the team re-signed Barden with both Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz dealing with contract issues. He had a nice game against Carolina (9-138) with Nicks sidelined early in the 2012 season.

The New York Daily News - [Full Article]

Giants RB Andre Brown (concussion), who rushed for 113 yards when Bradshaw missed Week 3 with a neck injury, was cleared to play on Tuesday. He said he worked with the first team on Wednesday.

“I feel good,” he said. “Better, especially to get back in the swing of things. I’m ready to go.”

Fantasy Impact:

As expected, Brown didn't lose his RB2 job to David Wilson due to injury. The Giants stuck with Domenik Hixon earlier in the season despite his concussion and a big game by Ramses-barden" class="player_name_link">Ramses Barden. Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) did not practice Wednesday. Bradshaw's chronic foot issue has cropped up again. Many will point to David Wilson is the obvious pick up, but Andre Brown (concussion) was cleared to practice fully today and when he was injured he was still ahead of Wilson on the depth chart. Bradshaw is expected to practice on Thursday. If he can't play in Week 7, we would expect some sort of a timeshare between Brown (assuming he's good to go) and Wilson, with Brown in the lead. Wilson only has 16 touches on the season compared to Brown's 44, so it's clear the coaching staff has more trust in Brown at this point. When trying to predict how the Giants will deal with injuries and the depth chart, remember that Domenik Hixon returned to his place in the depth chart ahead of Ramses-barden" class="player_name_link">Ramses Barden even though Barden had a terrific game in Week 3 (with Hixon sidelined).

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot, knee, questionable) took limited practice reps again Friday and is questionable for Week 6. It appears that Nicks is on track to play, though the late kickoff makes things difficult. If he can't play, Domenik Hixon would likely get another start. NJ.com - [Full Article]

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks will miss his third straight game this week.

The team ruled Nicks out for the Browns game with foot and knee injuries. Nicks broke a bone in his foot during the offseason and has been managing soreness, but last week his knee also became an issue. Nicks banged his knee on the turf against the Buccaneers in Week 2 -- the last game he played -- and had swelling when he tried to practice last week.

Coach Tom Coughlin said there has been no re-injury to Nicks foot, but the soreness in both areas is keeping him out. Coughlin did add that the swelling in Nicks' knee is down.

Ramses-barden" class="player_name_link">Ramses Barden (concussion) also has not practiced this week, adding to the injury concerns at the receiver position.

Fantasy Impact:
