The Giants will bring a ton of pressure on Michael Vick, hoping to force him to his right, hoping to make it uncomfortable throwing the football. The Giants figure to bring the pressure against RT King Dunlap with Justin Tuck, and also against LG Todd Herremans with Barry Cofield and Chris Canty. New York also has several safety-blitz packages in the game in order to put some early shots on Vick. Despite their attention to Vick, the Giants don’t want RB LeSean McCoy to kill them like he did in the last game with a 50-yard go-ahead TD.

Andy Reid calls out WR DeSean Jackson
Monday, November 29, 2010, 8:12am

CSN Philly - [Full Article]

DeSean Jackson sat there with headphones covering his ears and his hands covering his face. And he didn’t move.

Brent Celek came over and spoke to him in hushed tones for at least five minutes and then LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick both stopped by and talked to Jackson as well.

And still he sat there in his locker, occasionally nodding his head.

Nearly all his teammates had showered and dressed after the Eagles’ 31-26 loss to the Bears at Soldier Field Sunday, but Jackson just sat in his locker wrapped in a towel, occasionally looking up but for the most part with his head down in his lap and his hands over his face.

CSN's Derrick Gunn reported after the game that head coach Andy Reid called out a number of players, of which Jackson was one, in the Eagles' locker room, telling them they have to do a better job of being in the right positions to make plays.

Receiver Jeremy Maclin sat next to him for the first 10 minutes, seemingly just to keep an eye out for his teammate.

Fantasy Impact:

The issue apparently dealt with Jackson loafing during pregame warmups and then showing a lack of interest in going over the middle during the game. He's also dropped two TDs in two weeks. Reid never calls out players to the media and the fact this got out speaks volumes for how angry Reid seems to be. On DeSean's side, he's had two concussions within a year and his contract pays him less than teammate Jeremy Maclin, who signed as a first round pick.

Fox Sports - [Full Article]

With WR DeSean Jackson sidelined with a concussion, Jason Avant will be the second receiver with Jeremy Maclin in most of the Eagles’ two-wide receiver formations. This move will definitely put more pressure on Kevin Kolb to be productive and he may focus too much on Maclin. Rookie Riley Cooper, who has had his own concussion problems this season, will be the third receiver. Look for Eagles rookie Chad Hall lining up all over the formation, including occasionally in the backfield. The big key will be Philadelphia’s screen game to LeSean McCoy.

Philadelphia Inquirer/Philadelphia Daily News - [Full Article]

Philadelphia running back LeSean McCoy has been able to play effectively the past two weeks with that fractured rib he suffered against the Redskins on Oct. 3, but McCoy acknowledged yesterday that he is not healed.

"You see it?" McCoy said, pointing to a raised area on his lower torso. "It hurts. I guess it just takes time. The X-rays say it's healing."

Fantasy Impact:

McCoy's been doing just fine and should fare well tomorrow against the Titans.
