The Packers placed WR Randall Cobb on injured reserve – designated for return.
Cobb can practice in six weeks and can play in eight weeks. That makes his return date Week 15 - at the earliest, which means owners in redraft leagues should cut ties. Jordy Nelson and James Jones will now be the starters with Jarrett Boykin as the WR3. The team signed WR Myles White and TE/WR Jake Stoneburner from the practice squad. Look for Green Bay to run the ball a little more with Eddie Lacy to make up for the loss of Cobb. Lacy carried 23 times in Week 6 after Cobb and Jones went down. Boykin could have some value in deeper leagues.
