Coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that he expects Adams to play in the matchup of 6-0 teams. Adams missed the last three games because of a recurring sprained ankle that dates to Week 2 and includes the bye week.
When asked if Adams would play Sunday, McCarthy said, "I would think so."
That could be a significant addition to the Packers' offense, which has struggled to make plays down the field. Rodgers ranks just 18th in passing yards in part because the offense lacks a deep threat. Adams may put a dent in James Jones' production and would certainly seem to bump back Ty Montgomery and Jeff Janis.
