Michael Vick takes lead in QB battle?

For the first time this summer, there was a no-doubt, clear-cut winner on the field in the Eagles' quarterback competition. Michael Vick won the day by a mile.

Vick hit DeSean Jackson for two long touchdowns, one early in practice and the other on the final play of the day. The practice-ending play was a 35-yard strike to the corner of the end zone where a well-covered Jackson went up over Trevard Lindley for the score.

While Vick was having a standout day, Nick Foles looked average and Matt Barkley struggled.

Foles has seemed to hit a speed bump in his attempt to win the competition. Ever since the pad went on Sunday he hasn't looked the same. He's held onto the ball a bit longer and been less decisive.

Fantasy Impact:

It sounds as if the QB battle has shifted in Vick's favor since camp started. He would make an interesting QB2 if he wins the job.
