Lions players aren't the only ones sold on RB JahvidBest. The coaching staff has no reservations about using a rookie as the team's primary running back.
"I'm not losing any sleep over that one," Lions coach Jim Schwartz said. "We've used him in a lot of roles and moved him around a lot and used him in protections, at receiver and at running back and all kinds of schemes, and he never once batted an eye. Never once did we say, 'Boy, that was a rookie mistake right there,' or, 'Geez, he's got some work to do with that.'
"He's taken everything we've thrown at him."
We're not losing sleep either after what Best displayed in the preseason.
