Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake could have bigger role

Palm Beach Post - [Full Article]

Kenyan Drake had few running back reps at Dolphins practice this week, but when Arian Foster injured his groin in the second quarter, and then Jay Ajayi fumbled, Drake became a part of the offensive game plan.

“When my number is called, I just want to make the most of my opportunity,” said Drake, who had 2 rushes and 2 catches for 15 yards and his first career touchdown.

Drake ran around the right end and into the end zone with 6:10 remaining to bring the Dolphins within 31-24.

Fantasy Impact:

Miami ran only 16 times for 70 yards, an average of 4.4 yards per carry, on Sunday. With Foster hurt and quite possibly missing the home opener againt Cleveland, according to the story, and Ajayi still trying to escape Adam Gase’s dog house, an opportunity exists for Drake, the third-rounder out of Alabama.
