Browns receiver Josh Cribbs said he's "very optimistic" about resolving his contract dispute with the Browns, but still made no guarantee he'll be on the field Sunday without a new deal.
"I can't tell you what I'm going to do," he said. "I really can't tell you. I can tell you hopefully I'll be out there. I want to be out there. I anticipate being out there, and that's about it."
The Browns have continued to talk to Cribbs' agent, J.R. Rickert, and the tone has been positive.
