Mike is an IDP veteran, writing about and ranking IDP for over six season. He finished 6th in overall IDP rankings and 1st overall LB rankings in 2014 at FantasyPros. When he's not poring over IDP depth charts, he can be found agonizing over his Cleveland sports teams.

I can’t believe that we are at the end of the road of the NFL DFS season. We have arrived at Championship Week where the participants of Super Bowl 50 will be determined. It also marks the final weekend of NFL DFS.

The Conference Championships feature the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos. There are tough match-ups, but players from each game are definitely in play.

As was the case for the entire season, I’ll help you exploit specific defensive players and also touch on non-skill offensive players (read: the offensive line) to help you make the right choices on which players to roster and which players to fade in DFS lineups.

Last week we had our hits with Michael Floyd (thanks to his two scores), Julian Edelman, Jonathan Stewart and Emmanuel Sanders.  We also had our misses with James Jones, Jerricho Cotchery and David Johnson. Let’s enjoy the wins and try to increase our hit rate even during this last week of NFL DFS.

Situations to Exploit in the Passing Game

I would go back to the well with the Arizona receivers, especially their outside guys John Brown and Michael Floyd. Floyd should draw cornerback Robert McClain in coverage. He was thrown at 13 times last week because the Seahawks were forced to throw because of the hole they dug. Between McClain and safeties Kurt Coleman and Roman Harper, who lack top-end speed, Carolina can be susceptible to the deep ball. McClain allowed seven catches for 63 yards and was responsible for a score last week. I think the Cardinals will be able to give Carson Palmer enough time to target his big play receivers.
