DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 14, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Oakland
Last Sunday in San Diego, Ronnie Hillman led the Broncos running attack with 19 carries for 56 yards. With C.J. Anderson nursing a sore ankle, Ronnie accounted for almost half of the team’s rushes. Anderson may be out this week versus the Raiders, so expect Hillman to again receive most of the rushing attempts if that's the case. In Week 6 at Oakland, Hillman was held to 21 yards on seven carries, but should do much better in the rematch with Brock Osweiler under center.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 13, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at San Diego
Facing a good New England run defense last Sunday in the snow, Ronnie Hillman ran for 59 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. He again split time with C.J. Anderson, who received 15 carries and scored twice. Since Brock Osweiler took over at QB two games ago, Ronnie has rushed for 161 yards and the Broncos ground game has been impressive. Look for that trend to continue at San Diego against the No. 26 defense versus the run. Hillman should be considered RB2 material.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. New England
With Brock Osweiler forcing the Bears to respect the passing game last week, Ronnie Hillman recorded his third 100-yard game of the season. He finished with 102 yards on 21 carries, with a long run of 15 yards. As long as the ground game is working, Denver’s offense can move the football, regardless of who is at QB. New England ranks No. 2 versus the run however, making Hillman a RB2 play on Sunday night.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Chicago
The Broncos got pounded last week against Kansas City, but it wasn’t a complete waste if you started Ronnie Hillman. He wound up with 42 yards and a TD on 11 carries – not great, but the late score helped. C.J. Anderson had only two carries in the loss, but now that Brock Osweiler is the Denver QB, expect the Denver offense to continue to search for a run game, which means both RBs should receive a decent amount of playing time. Hillman makes for an RB2 play in Chicago against the No. 26 defense at stopping the run.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Kansas City
In the defeat by the Colts last Sunday, Ronnie Hillman finished with just one yard on seven carries. The Broncos ground game amassed only 35 yards, with Hillman and C.J. Anderson each receiving seven rush attempts. Denver got behind early and were forced to throw the ball over 70 percent of the time, especially with Indianapolis eating up the clock. Ronnie led the Broncos ground attack with 34 yards on nine rushes in Week 2 at Kansas City, but expect a better performance during the rematch.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Indianapolis
In his first game as the starter this season, Ronnie Hillman did not disappoint. He ran through the Green Bay defense for 60 yards on 19 carries with two TDs. While C.J. Anderson rushed for over 100 yards on his 14 rushes, Ronnie now leads the team with four scores on the ground. Expect to continue to see a mixture of Hillman and Anderson, making neither one more than a RB2 play, even against a Colts defense that allows over 400 yards per game.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. Green Bay
For the second time in three games, Ronnie Hillman eclipsed the century mark on the ground two weeks ago in the win over the Browns. Ronnie’s first 100-yard game was helped by a 72-yard TD run, but it was a more balanced performance against Cleveland, as he ran for 111 yards on 20 carries, with a long of 26 yards. Through the first six games, Hillman has been the more productive RB over C.J. Anderson. Green Bay has had trouble slowing down opponents’ rushing game, so Hillman makes for a RB3/flex play on Sunday night.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Cleveland
In the win at Oakland last Sunday, Ronnie Hillman carried the ball seven times for 21 yards. Averaging three yards per rush isn’t great, but it was better than C.J. Anderson’s two yards (11 carries for 22 yards). In the first five games of the season, Ronnie leads the team with 212 rush yards – an average of 42 per game – but remember 72 of those yards came on one attempt in Week 4. On the road in Cleveland this week, Hillman makes for a RB3/flex play against the 30th-ranked defense.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Oakland
Ronnie Hillman and C.J. Anderson each carried the ball 11 times last Sunday in the win against the Vikes. Ronnie’s 72-yard scamper for his second score of the season helped him eclipse 100 yards on the afternoon. Hillman is also seeing more of the goal line action, which makes him the better back to start at this time. However, Oakland has been stingy versus the run so far.

DEN RB Ronnie Hillman - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Minnesota
While Peyton Manning threw 42 passes last week in the win at Detroit, the Denver RBs carried the ball 18 times for just 42 yards. Ronnie Hillman finished with only 13 yards on seven carries, but was able to score from a yard out for the team’s first rushing touchdown of the season. C.J. Anderson remains the starter, but Ronnie has almost as many touches in 2015. The Vikings have yielded 119 rushing yards per game, but you still should be cautious about starting Hillman.
