STL TE Jared Cook - Week 12, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Cincinnati
Jared Cook caught 4-of-6 targets for 31 yards in the Rams Week 11 loss to the Ravens. His targets were a team-high, but Case Keenum completed just 12 passes for 136 yards in the loss. Cook is often a non-factor in St. Louis' passing game and he hasn't caught a touchdown all year. Leave him on your waiver wire.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 11, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Baltimore
Jared Cook caught 2-of-3 targets for 35 yards in the Rams Week 10 loss to the Bears. He continues to be an afterthought in a passing game that has been woefully inefficient all season. Cook continues to be plagued by drops and has now been limited to only three targets in each of his last three games. The Ravens have fantasy's No. 2 defense against tight ends, so Cook has a tough matchup on Sunday. Not that we would recommend playing him anyway.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 10, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Chicago
Jared Cook caught 1-of-3 targets for 10 yards in the Rams Week 9 loss to the Vikings. For a team with a struggling quarterback, you wonder why St. Louis doesn't use the middle of the field more in order to move the chains more efficiently. Then you remember that the middle-of-the-field option is often Jared Cook, who is unreliable as a receiving option. Ranked as our TE20 for Week 10, leave Cook on your waiver wire.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Minnesota
Jared Cook caught 2-of-3 targets for 57 yards in the Rams Week 8 win over the 49ers. It was a rare day in which Cook wasn't dropping passes for fumbling them. His 49-yard catch right before halftime set up a Tavon Austin touchdown on an end-around and Cook also caught a two-point conversion. There's been talk that the Rams could get Cook more involved as they try to figure out their stagnant passing game, but the 28-year-old tight end remains off the fantasy radar. Ranked as our TE22 for Week 9, leave Cook on your waiver wire.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs. San Francisco
Jared Cook caught 2-of-4 targets for 19 yards in the Rams Week 7 win over the Browns. He also lost a fumble deep inside Cleveland territory, proving once again he can be a drive-killer for St. Louis' offense. Drops have become the norm for the veteran tight end, who continues to get opportunities in the Rams offense despite the miscues. Either way, he's completely off fantasy radars and should be avoided in Week 8. He ranks as our TE20 for this weekend.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Cleveland
Jared Cook caught just 1-of-6 targets for eight yards in the Rams Week 5 loss to the Packers. He also added another drop, which has become a weekly occurrence for Cook (who was the subject of trade rumors earlier this week). He has little trade value and doesn't have much fantasy value either. Leave Cook, who ranks as our TE19 for Week 8, on your waiver wire.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Green Bay
Jared Cook caught three-of-six targets for 22 yards in the Rams Week 4 win over the Cardinals. He also dropped another pass, which is seemingly becoming a weekly occurrence for the 28-year-old tight end. Following Todd Gurley's breakout performance, the Rams are likely to keep the ball on the ground. That means fewer targets for Cook, who won't be a reliable option for Sunday's game in Green Bay. He ranks as our TE13 for Week 5 and should remain on your waiver wire.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Arizona
Jared Cook caught one-of-three targets for just seven yards in the Rams Week 3 loss to the Steelers. He also had a costly penalty with the Rams inside the red zone while trying to take the lead in the second half and the three targets was a three-week low for Cook. He's played on an average of 81 percent of the team's offensive snaps, but that's a hollow number. The Rams can't run the ball and they're seemingly not going to develop their game plan to feature Cooks in the pass game, so avoid him in all formats. He ranks as our TE17 for Week 4.

Friday, October 2, 2015 - 10:53am
STL TE Jared Cook - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Pittsburgh
Jared Cook caught 5-of-7 targets for 47 yards in the Rams Week 2 loss to the Redskins. While he led the team in targets, one of his drops would have led to a first down in the second half and his longest gain (a 14-yard reception) was right before halftime as time ran out on the second quarter. Through two games he's played on 79 percent of the Rams offensive snaps and will continue to be an option in the intermediate passing game for Nick Foles. But he's an unreliable fantasy option and should be avoided. He ranks as our TE15 for Week 3.

STL TE Jared Cook - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Washington
Jared Cook caught five-of-six targets for 85 yards in the Rams Week 1 win over the Seahawks. He made several nice grabs, including one along the sidelines in the second quarter and one in the flats when QB Nick Foles threw it at his shoe tops. Thanks to his size and speed, Cook is often a mismatch against slower linebackers and smaller defensive backs, but consistency has been an issue for the tight end. There have been times were he'll disappear for games, which makes him an unreliable fantasy player. That said, he's a streaming option this week against Washington and fantasy's No. 31 pass defense. Cook ranks as our TE18 and is a boom-or-bust start for desperate fantasy owners.
