Jaguars HC Gus Bradley says QB Blaine Gabbert starts Sunday against Colts.

Gabbert's hand laceration is apparently healed enough to start Week 4. The Jags likely want to see if they have anything in Gabbert despite him not showing much so far in his career. WR Justin Blackmon is due back in Week 5 after suspension, so maybe we'll get to see what happens when the full offense is back together. For now, WR Cecil Shorts isn't as safe of a play as he seemed to be with Chad Henne.

Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (right hand) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Consider Gabbert doubtful with Chad Henne getting the start against the Seahawks. He should not be in fantasy lineups this week.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps Wednesday.

Although Blaine Gabbert’s lacerated throwing hand is expected to keep him out of the Jaguars’ game next week in Seattle, coach Gus Bradley wasn’t quite ready to name Chad Henne the starter after the 19-9 loss to Oakland on Sunday.

“We’ll see,” Bradley said. “We’ll evaluate where Blaine is after this week.”

Henne was 25 of 38 for 241 yards and one touchdown.

Gabbert missed practice last week after needing 15 stitches to close the gash he sustained against Kansas City. Henne avoided any turnovers and posted the Jaguars’ first touchdown of the season — a 13-yard throw to tight end Clay Harbor with 2:53 remaining. Henne was sacked five times. This week's matchup is a brutal one against Seattle, however.

Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (right thumb, right hand, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 2. Chad Henne steps in against the Raiders, and is an interesting pick, especially in daily formats. Henne averaged 267 yards, 1.4 TD and 1.4 INT in his final seven games last season. His presence is good for Cecil Shorts, who was targeted early and often by Henne.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (knee, questionable) returned to take limited reps Friday after missing practice Thursday and is questionable for Week 2.
