Scouting report

by Chris Kucharski

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Chandler vs. Bills
Scott Chandler's true value over the past couple seasons has been his ability to get into the end zone. That has not happened once in 2014.

He is not even a good candidate right now for a roster spot. Maybe things will change with Kyle Orton at quarterback

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Chandler vs Texans
Scott Chandler had his best game of the season production-wise. He caught five passes for 74 yards. You would love to see consistent numbers like this from Chandler, but recent history says that was a fluke.

Houston has been tough against tight ends and although Chandler had a good week last week, we don't expect the same for Week 4. He plays a TE2 at best which means he is on the bench for most teams.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Chandler vs Chargers
Well, it was a little better for Scott Chandler for Week 2. He did have two catches for 22 yards after not even being targeted in Week 1. Still, Chandler has very little fantasy value as expected. No reason to even have him on your roster unless something drastically changes.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 2, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2: Chandler vs Dolphins
Scott Chandler was targeted only once on Sunday and his role is pretty defined for Buffalo. He will still get the majority of the snaps in passing situations, but his status should be the same most weeks and that is he is not a good fantasy option. Keep him on the bench.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 1, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1: Chandler vs. Bears
Expect the same Scott Chandler in 2014 that you saw in 2013. Maybe three catches a game and rare end zone appearances. He wasn't draftable and will not be playable unless EJ Manuel is better than expected.
