Scouting report

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13: Chandler vs Browns
Scott Chandler found the end zone for the second time this season along with three catches last week in Detroit. There is no doubt that is where his value is, which means you are hoping each week he scores. Fantasy football isn't about hope. Keep Chandler on the bench.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Chandler vs Jets
Scott Chandler was shut out in Week 11 with zero targets which only happened once before in Week 1. We don't expect that to happen this week, but it is a red flag. Even with a great matchup against the Jets who are 30th in aFPA to tight ends, Chandler just isn't a big part of the passing game for Buffalo. Keep him on the bench for Week 12.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Chandler vs Dolphins
Another typical week for Scott Chandler. Some targets, some catches, but not anything that catches fantasy owners attention. The Dolphins have shut down tight ends all season (4th in aFPA to tight ends) so don't expect much on Thursday.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Chandler vs Chiefs

Scott Chandler finally got into the end zone two weeks ago against the Jets and that's where his value has come the past couple seasons. It was only his first score of the year and the other numbers just aren't there.

He faces a Chiefs' defense that is 7th in aFPA to tight ends so that won't make things any easier. Keep Chandler on the bench again as a TE2.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Chandler vs Jets
Scott Chandler went back to normal last week against the Vikings a week after his best week as a professional. He caught three passes for 36 yards and still does not have a touchdown this season.

Even with a very good matchup against the Jets who are 24th in aFPA to tight ends, he should remain on the bench as a TE2 for Week 8.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Chandler vs Vikings
Where did that come from? Scott Chandler exploded last week with his first-ever 100-yard receiving day and an average of 17.6 yards per catch. He still hasn't reached the end zone which has been the only time he has had value, but you might want to keep an eye on Chandler moving forward because the QB change to Kyle Orton could raise his value.

This week, it is a really bad matchup for Chadler as the Vikings are one of the best teams in the NFL against tight ends. Minnesota is 3rd in aFPA to tight ends in 2014. Chandler will keep his typical ranking of a low-end TE2 and should be on your bench for Week 7.

BUF TE Scott Chandler - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Chandler vs.Patriots
No major change with the usage of Scott Chandler with Kyle Orton under center. Chandler has very little fantasy value this week and probably should be on the waiver wire rather than your bench.
