Scouting report

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Houston Texans

Peyton Barber is stuck in a three-man backfield, and he's seen the fewest amount of snaps among the three backs. Even though he's seen the fewest snaps, he leads all three backs in touchdowns with seven. He's essentially a touchdown or bust flex play this week against the Texans, making him not that great of an option.

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Detroit Lions

Peyton Barber ran 11 times for 34 yards last week while catching two passes for 19 yards. He's played the fewest amount of snaps between the three Bucs backs, but has scored the most touchdowns (7). He's essentially a touchdown-or-bust option at running back this week against the Lions who have allowed 19 total touchdowns to running backs this season (11 rushing, 8 receiving).

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Peyton Barber took advantage of Ronald Jones' benching to finish 17-44-2 on the ground last week. It was an ineffective performance as he averaged just 2.6 yards per carry, but he at least scored. That last sentence is essentially the entirety of Peyton Barber's fantasy relevance. He won't be a strong option this week against the Colts who have allowed just touchdowns on the ground to running backs this season.

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Peyton Barber finished 11-32 on the ground last week while having no receptions. He only played 15 snaps, so his opportunities are limited. At this point, Barber is basically a touchdown-or-bust flex play and he's scored just once in his last six games. He does get a great matchup this week against the Jaguars, but he should be viewed as a low-end flex option.

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Atlanta Falcons

Peyton Barber saw the lowest amount of usage among the three Bucs backs last week, playing on just 12 of their 68 offensive snaps. He had no carries, and only caught two passes for 11 yards (although he did score a touchdown). Since the Bucs' bye in Week 7, here's how Barber's snap counts have looked against his teammates: Jones ( 125), Ogunbowale (99) and Barber (74). He's really only useful if he finds the endzone, making him a desperation flex play.

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. New Orleans Saints

Peyton Barber tied Ronald Jones for carries last week, rushing 11 times for 43 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a pass for four yards. Barber hasn't been overly productive this season, topping 50 scrimmage yards just once. He's basically a touchdown-or-bust flex play and he faces a Saints defense that's only allowed three rushing touchdowns to running backs. One of those scores did come from Barber, but it's obviously not likely it happens this week.

TB RB Peyton Barber - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Peyton Barber played on just 14% of the offensive snaps last week, which was a season-low for him. Ronald Jones is getting more carries, and Dare Ogunbowale is playing on passing plays which doesn't leave Barber with much playing time. Unless something changes, he's not a strong play.
