LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New Orleans Saints

The Rams take on the Saints on Thursday Night Football this week with Matthew Stafford leading the charge. He comes in as our QB12 on the week. Stafford has been all over our rankings this year but has put together a strong month and deserves to be a starter in Week 16.

Over the past month, he's on a streak of four straight multi-touchdown games. Stafford has only thrown one pick in that span, as well. Since missing the Green Bay game, he's averaging 248 passing yards and 2.8 touchdowns to just 0.4 interceptions.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Washington Commanders

Matthew Stafford is all the way up to QB7 in our rankings this week. He's coming off of his second three-touchdown, zero-interception outing in a row. Stafford came up just shy of his fourth 300-yard passing outing.

The Commanders have allowed nine of their last 10 opposing quarterbacks to throw for multiple touchdowns. Stafford is hoping to make it 10 of the last 11 when they suit up on Sunday. He's a must-start if you have him on your roster this week.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Baltimore Ravens

Matthew Stafford showed up in a big way last week despite the tough matchup with the Browns. He threw for 279 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. It was his highest yardage output since October 1st and he now has seven touchdowns to one interception in the past two games.

Even with that solid recent play, we have him down at QB20 heading into the weekend. He's a solid QB2 option in superflex but there are likely better options on your single quarterback roster.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cleveland Browns

Matthew Stafford's struggles evaporated last week, thanks to a matchup with Arizona. The yardage numbers weren't exactly gaudy, but his fantasy managers will certainly take a four-touchdown day.

The Cleveland defense is a significantly tougher matchup, though. No quarterback has eclipsed 20 fantasy points against the Browns since Week 10 of last season when Tua Tagovailoa did so. He's a fine QB2 option in superflex leagues but he's not a viable streamer.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Arizona Cardinals

Matthew Stafford and the Rams travel to Arizona for a divisional matchup with the Cardinals this weekend. It was another rough outing for Stafford in Week 11. He hasn't topped a 60% completion rate since mid-October and was under 200 passing yards once again this week.

We have him ranked as QB17 in a surprisingly tough matchup. Arizona hasn't allowed a QB to top 20 fantasy points since Week 5. He's off of the single-QB radar until things in Los Angeles turn around.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Matthew Stafford got in a full practice this week and is on track to return to action. With a projection of under 14 fantasy points, I'm not sure it matters too much. He's currently sitting at QB20 in our rankings. After a decent start to the season, he's failed to break 250 passing yards since October 1st. Hopefully there are better options on your roster in single QB leagues.

LAR QB Matthew Stafford - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Dallas Cowboys

Matthew Stafford comes into Week 8 ranked as QB16 in our projections. His performance in Week 7 left much to be desired. He now faces a Cowboys defense that has been relatively stingy against the pass this year. They've only allowed one quarterback to break 20 fantasy points.

Our projections have Stafford as a viable starter in two-quarterback leagues, but fantasy managers in single-quarterback formats may want to explore other options until Stafford proves things are clicking.
