Scouting report

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Tampa Bay
Kerley had just two catches for 12 yards last week, his worst game of the season. It was no coincidence that happened with a change in quarterbacks. Colin Kaepernick will get the start again this week and given what happened last week, Kerley is probably better off on your bench this week until we see better chemistry between the two.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Buffalo
After back-to-back good games, including eight catches for 102 and a score last week, Kerley now has to adjust to a new quarterback. That's the bad news. The good is that he's at least familiar with this week's opponent, and saw 13 targets last week. He's easily San Francisco's top WR until further notice. He's dealing with an ankle injury, but should be OK to use as a No. 3 receiver, particularly in PPR leagues. The Bills have allowed three opponents to get 15 or more WR catches already this season.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Arizona
Kerley had six catches for 88 yards and a touchdown to serve as San Francisco's top offensive threat last week at Dallas. He's now had two productive games and two that were pretty much nothing. That's what you're going to get from this San Francisco passing game. Kerley also is dealing with an ankle injury that had him very limited at practice this week. Make sure you check his status before playing him, but don't expect anything more than a flex play here.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Dallas
Kerley had just two catches for 24 yards last week, but did get six targets (meaning he has seen at least six targets in each game). He did fumble, however. Kerley has 12 catches for 114 yards working out of the slot for the 49ers and Dallas is just middle of the pack in pass defense. Kerley could be worth a flex start in PPR leagues based on his volume, but then you're betting on Blaine Gabbert.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 at Seattle
After a solid start in Week 1, Kerley managed just three receptions for 29 yards last week against Carolina's stout defense. He's probably still the best bet among the San Francisco wide receivers, but unless you have no other choices, none of the 49ers offensive players should be in your lineup this week.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 2, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Carolina
Kerley had seven catches for 61 yards last week on a team-best 11 targets. Working from the slot, he's not likely to be a big-yardage contributor in this offense. But in PPR leagues, he's probably the start to make if you have to play a 49ers receiver. That said, I wouldn't trust any of the 49ers receivers playing at Carolina.

SF WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 1, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Los Angeles
Kerley is slated to be San Francisco's slot receiver, but unless you're playing in a PPR league - and not even then - he shouldn't be in your starting lineup this week.
