NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at New England
Jamison Crowder was the most valuable fantasy receiver last season but has taken a backseat to Corey Davis. After missing the first three games, Crowder has 15 targets which have created 11 receptions for 85 yards a touchdown.

Crowder missed the first meeting against New England and did not have much success last season against them. Patriots are ranked 17th in aFPA to wide receivers.

Crowder shouldn't be in your lineup for Week 7 but if he on the waiver wire, this would be a very good pickup for depth.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New England
Jamison Crowder's usage seems to have crept back up close to where he was at the beginning of the season. He had nine targets which produced seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown. It was his highest receiving yard total since Week 5.

Crowder will face the Patriots who are ranked 5th in aFPA to wide receivers. There is little doubt that he is QB Sam Darnold's favorite target in the passing game. In the first meeting with the Pats, Crowder was held to two receptions for 26 yards, but he did have a touchdown.

Start Crowder as a high-end WR3 or flex in all leagues and formats. We should see him have similar numbers to what he had the last couple of games.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Cleveland
Jamison Crowder has been quiet over recent weeks because he hasn't been healthy and the Jets offense has had bad outings. He is still the best option on New York's receiving corps as he had six catches for 66 yards, his best fantasy outing since mid-October. Remember, Crowder started the season with four straight games with double-digit targets, but hasn't had one since.

Crowder will face the Browns who are 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. Cleveland has given up some big numbers in the passing game in recent weeks. So, Crowder could have a decent game.

Start Crowder in PPR leagues as a WR3 or flex, but keep him on the bench in standard leagues for Week 16. He still will the No 1 target for QB Sam Darnold. and that volume will help him.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Seattle
Even though the Jets offense has looked better over the last month, Jamison Crowder has not had the impact he had before he sat out with an injury. This past Sunday, he had five receptions for 47 yards, both were the highest in each category since he came back. However, he did reward his fantasy owners with two touchdown receptions. The biggest issue has been targets. He was a double-digit target guy even week early in the season and that seven has been his high over the last four weeks. Part of this could be because of the emergence of Breshad Perriman as another option in the passing game.

The Jets face the Seahawks who are 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. We still think Crowder is the best option in the passing game so he ranks as a low-end WR2 in both standard and PPR leagues. Keep him in your lineup for Week 14.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Las Vegas
After a strong start to the season, Jamison Crowder slowed down in November. He wasn't 100% health-wise and the targets which were so plentiful in the first half of the season slowed down significantly. Crowder had only 11 targets in three games last month and that produced six receptions for 72 yards and 1 touchdown.

Jets have a decent matchup this week facing Las Vegas who are 13th in aFPA to wide receivers. They hope to get QB Sam Darnold on track against a Raiders defense that was awful last week. If Darnold can start figuring it out, Crowder will be a huge beneficiary.

Start Crowder for Week 13, but only as a WR3 or flex. He has slid back down the fantasy rankings after a poor month and questionable health.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Los Angeles Chargers
Jamison Crowder returned last game from injury, but he still appeared to be less than 100%. He saw double-digit targets every game this season until the Patriots game. He also had three 100-yard receiving games. Crowder has been a target machine no matter where he has played and it has continued in New York.

Crowder will face the Chargers who are eighth in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with the tough matchup, we expect the targets to go back up for Crowder who has a chance to rest after the bye week.

Start Crowder as a high-end WR3 or Flex in PPR leagues and he will have a little less value in standard leagues, but should still be in your lineup as a WR3. Even though the Jets offense has struggled, Crowder has still shined.

NYJ WR Jamison Crowder - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Buffalo
Jamison Crowder continues to be one of the best receivers on a bad team in the NFL. He had double-digit targets again which has been the case in every game he has played this season. Last week, his fantasy numbers dipped as he was held under 100 receiving yards for the first time this season with only 46. The Dolphins did a good job against the veteran although he still had 13 targets.

Crowder faces the Bills who are 11th in aFPA to wide receivers. He seven receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown in the first meeting. Although we don't expect him to replicate that because the Jets offense is bad right now. But expect the targets and decent numbers enough to rank Crowder as a WR3 and flex for Week 7.
