DAL TE Geoff Swaim - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Tennessee Titans

Geoff Swaim continues to average two or three catches per game and only has one touchdown this season. The Cowboys had a luxury with Jason Witten at tight end the past decade, but Swaim has not been able to become that type of security blanket for Dak Prescott.

It will be a tough matchup against Tennessee who is second in aFPA to tight ends. Keep Swaim on the bench as a TE2 for Week 9.

DAL TE Geoff Swaim - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Washington Redskins

After showing some signs of life the past couple weeks, Geoff Swaim was the recipient of two catches for 21 yards. It was the only two times he was targeted in the game.

Swaim will face the Redskins who are fifth in aFPA to tight ends. Even with the step back last week, we feel Swaim will have more impact on the Cowboys season as the season progresses, For Week 7, keep him on the bench as a solid TE2.

DAL TE Geoff Swaim - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Geoff Swaim has had 11 receptions for 141 yards over the last three weeks which makes him the most successful pass catcher on Dallas not named Ezekiel Elliot. Still, the Cowboys are struggling in the passing game and there isn't much value for Swaim. He is getting five targets per game over the last three weeks, but that's isn't enough to rank him any higher than a low-end TE2. Keep Swaim on the bench for Week 6.

DAL TE Geoff Swaim - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Houston Texans
Geoff Swaim has eight catches in the last two games and also a touchdown. He is also the third most targeted Cowboy through four weeks.

His stock has risen since the beginning of the season and his ranking is the highest it has been this season, and that might be because of a good matchup against the Texans who are 28th in aFPA to tight ends. However, his numbers still aren't good enough to consider him for your starting lineup. He is a deep option only.
