Scouting report

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Cleveland
Auden Tate had four catches for 66 yards last Sunday and has had some pretty good games as the Bengals No. 2. That could change as John Ross returns from IR. Ross was the No. 2 until he got hurt and probably will be eased back into the role.

Tate faces the Browns who are 15th in aFPA to wide receivers. He will still probably be involved in the offense, but how much time Ross gets compared to Tate will be something to keep an eye on. Keep Tate on the bench for Week 14.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs New York Jets
Auden Tate was held to just one reception for 10 yards last Sunday. The Bengals No. 2 receiver has had a good season, but disappeared against Pittsburgh. Tate will now face the Jets who are 27th in aFPA to wide receivers.

Even with the favorable matchup and the return of veteran QB Andy Dalton to the starting lineup, keep Tate on the bench for Week 13.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Oakland
Auden Tate had his worst game since Week 6 with only three catches for 36 yards. Tate now has a rookie quarterback throwing to him which will probably push him down the rankings on a weekly basis until QB Ryan Finley proves he can handle the job.

It's a great matchup for Week 11 against the Raiders who are 30th in aFPA to wide receivers. Even with a very favorable matchup, Tate should stay on the bench against Oakland.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Baltimore
Auden Tate has been solid over the last three weeks with at least 65 receiving yards over that stretch. However, the Bengals passing game has struggled overall and those numbers might be the ceiling. Tate hasn't had a touchdown reception over those three games.

Tate faces the Ravens who are 18th in aFPA to wide receivers. But rookie quarterback Ryan Finley will get the start for Cincinnati so there is a very big unknown for this game.

Keep Tate on the bench for Week 10. The Bengals passing game might get better with Finley, but it also might stay stagnant. A.J. Green will not return so keep Tate for depth on your roster.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Los Angeles Rams
Auden Tate is establishing himself as a solid NFL receiver and even though he only had three catches this past Sunday, he did register 65 receiving yards. Tate was targeted 12 times back in Week 6 QB Andy Dalton has shown confidence in him.

The Bengals offense has struggled as a whole and the passing game won't get a break this week when it faces the Rams who have acquired cornerback Jaylen Ramsey and are ranked 10th in aFPA to wide receivers.

Tate should not be in your starting lineup for Week 8. The passing game for Cincy has been too inconsistent and Tate's overall impact isn't good enough to warrant a start.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs Jacksonville
Auden Tate is fitting nicely in to the role as the Bengals No. 2 receiver. He caught five passes for a season-high 91 yards. Tate was targeted 12 times as the Ravens took Tyler Boyd out of the game.

Jacksonville is up next for Cincy and ranks 22nd in aFPA to wide receivers. Tate has shown he can be a factor on a weekly basis. With a favorable matchup in Week 7, start Tate as a WR3. He should put up good enough numbers to help your team.

CIN WR Auden Tate - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Baltimore
Since his outstanding Week 3 performance, Auden Tate has settled down a litte bit. He still has 12 targets over the last two weeks for seven receptions. Tate did get his first career touchdown against the Cardinals last week.

Tate will face the Ravens who are 26th in aFPA to wide receivers. As long as A.J. Green and John Ross are out, Tate has some fantasy value, but not enough to be in your starting lineup. Keep him on the bench for Week 6.
