Andrew Franks only missed one extra point last season.

Fantasy Downside

Franks made 76.2 percent of his field goals in 2016, only good enough for 27th in the NFL. He also ranked only 30th in field goals made and was tied for 29th in field goals attempted. He also missed two chip-shot field goals from 20-29 yards.

2017 Bottom Line

Franks should not be one of the kickers drafted in your fantasy league unless you somehow play in a 30-team league.

Wild Card Round at Pittsburgh
Franks' Dolphins are a 10-point underdog this week at Pittsburgh. It's also never fun to kick there in January. For those reasons, other kickers are probably better options than Franks, despite his cheap $4500 price on FanDuel.

Franks plays Saturday night against the Jets in New Jersey. Earlier this season against the Jets, Franks made all five of his kicks. But without Ryan Tannehill leading the offense, he is not an option you want to utilize in the fantasy postseason.

Week 12 vs. San Francisco
Franks vaults to a top-5 option at the position in Week 12 against the 49ers defense that hemorrhages points. Before last week's rainy affair in Los Angeles where Franks only kicked two extra points, he averaged 8.5 points over his previous four games. Franks is a great streaming kicker option for Week 12.
