LV RB Josh Jacobs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Josh Jacobs had 77 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Chiefs before the bye last week. He had 25 touches, including a pair of receptions for eight additional yards, and is now averaging 24.2 touches per game. If Jacobs can stay healthy through that kind of workload, he’s an excellent high-floor option in all fantasy leagues as a weekly option.

This week, Jacobs faces a tough Buccaneers defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing running backs. Jacobs is productive, and gets enough touches to make him a must-start every week, regardless of matchup. Against this defense, however, temper expectations and think of him more in the RB2 category rather than the steady RB1 he usually is.
