Standard 12 team (RB HEAVY) Keeper/ Auction League:
My Keepers: K.Cousins, Julio, M.Thomas and J.McKinnon (we have to keep a QB or TE)

How viable is the zero RB strategy this year? I anticipate all RB1's to be kept (other than Barkley) with the highest ranked remaining being: A.Collins, L.Miller and K.Drake, etc. etc.
For WR there will be D.Adams, S.Diggs and D.Baldwin available.

RBs always go for way more than WRs in my league so would it make sense to get 2or even 3 of these WR1s and then try to pick up a bunch of late round RBs?

I tend to agree with gnarlbard here. I like his list of backs, but I don't think I'd overpay if there's good value at WR. I don't like counting on a trade either, but outside of the top 10 backs, I like to bargain hunt.

Don't depend on a trade. You could go WR if you really wanted one, then go RB, but I'd fill the position of RB. If Jimmy Graham is available you might want to draft him over Adams and complete your TE. RB depth is huge over the course of a season, and you don't want that as a super weak position. Plus, with 2 stud WR1, it's way safer to draft your third WR later since it's a deep position. If TY Hilton was available, then I'd pull the trigger on him over the RBs, but I think you'd be better served drafting RBs first.

My thinking is do I overpay for these RB2s with question marks vs get great value on the WR1s and maybe pull off a trade to a WR needy team in week 3? We start 2RB, 2WR and a flex so I'd for sure be starting 3 WR1's each week.

Since it's standard league, and you already have 2 WR1s, you might as well draft some RBs even though they're not RB1s. Try and target high potential RBs. For standard scoring, I like guys such as: Lamar Miller, Alex Collins, Royce Freeman, Corey Clement. Jame White could be a guy with a lot of looks this year.
