Hey guys, I see you have JG pretty low in the rankings. I can keep him in the 7th or Deshaun Watson in the 7th. I'm no psyched about keeping a QB but you have him higher overall based on my league settings. Every other site seems to be ranking him higher...thoughts?
Both are pretty good value with a 7th round pick. I don't tend to value QBs very highly, so I might keep Gordon, thinking his ADP will be higher by about a round.
However, if your league is one where QBs go higher, then I think Watson is probably the better play. I have one league where you need to take a starter by the 5th round or you won't get one, so in a league like that, I'd be more apt to keep Watson so I could focus on other positions early. If you're accustomed to taking a QB later anyway, I think I'd rather go with Gordon.
There's risk either way. Does Watson stay healthy? Does Gordon stay active? I'd probably gamble with the high upside of Gordon, but I don't think either is wrong here.
