How is TJ leaving Erik Swoope out of this article?

The GM even mentions that the trade was to open up opportunity for Swoope. http://www.stampedeblue.com/2017/3/30/15131506/trade-of-dwayne-allen-cle...

Is TJ rusty from offseason or will he not have every opportunity to compete with Doyle? Both undrafted and 6'5, but Swoope is faster with the basketball background.

I can't speak for T.J., but I think Doyle will be given the opportunity to be the main guy in Indianapolis. I do think that Swoope is an interesting option in the passing game due to his skill set, but as a more raw player without demonstrated production, I think the best case scenario for him is that this remains a 2TE system, hurting both players.

I'll draft Doyle late, but I won't be jumping on him early on. I'll be thinking of him much like I thought of Dwayne Allen last year - a late round guy with TE1 potential. Swoope I might stash in large leagues.
