Greetings,

In my 12-team standard league, with D.Freeman doubtful this week, I need to fill my RB2 spot. I'm looking for the highest floor play based on my match-up this week. My RB1 is McCoy, and have Peterson and D.Lewis as options for my RB2.

Peterson is obviously the upside volume play (averaging 24+ touches/game in his four games with ARI), but we've also seen his very low floor in two of the last three games vs. LAR and SEA.

Lewis has averaged a solid 14 touches/game in his last four games and plays on a better offense with the highest projected Over/Under this week vs. OAK. But he's in a crowded backfield for NE, which always complicates things.

This week, 4for4.com ranks Peterson at #11, while Lewis is ranked #24, but can we make the argument that Lewis is the higher floor play? I'm interested to hear your thoughts? Thanks!

Good question. I worry about the Pats RB situation. You could very well play Lewis and he'll be fine, but Rex seemed to be the main guy last week. Not sure if it was matchup based and if they could go back to Lewis, or who knows, even Gillislee at some point. I would say Peterson SHOULD have the highest floor because of the workload he gets.

Additionally, with ARI losing their LT Humphries and having to start a new QB yet again could stall the offense vs. a good HOU run defense...adding to Peterson's low-floor potential.
