I am picking at 18 and deciding between some running backs. I want to pick Jordan Howard, but I am also still deciding between Alex Collins, Jerrick McKinnon, and Jay Ajayi. Assuming all 3 of those running backs are available, who should I select. I am hoping to pick someone that can produce consistent, RB1 or 2 Numbers. Thanks
I think Ajayi is a lesser Howard. I think Howard probably has a little less upside than the other two you listed, but is the better prospect overall. I think he's safer to keep his job, he just may or may not be active in the passing game, which is less of an issue in a standard league like yours.
After Howard, I think Collins and Ajayi are probably the ones I like, but most people would say McKinnon. I'm just going to continue to doubt McKinnon, and I'll probably be killed for it later. I just don't see it.
