What are the chances Ballard actually opens up the pocket book for someone like bell? I just have this lurking feeling that even with the most cap space we wouldn’t make a big move, that being bell or someone else. I honestly can’t wrap my head around not giving him 17 a year or whatever with what we have. We won’t have luck forever. And are the reports that the Steelers absolutely won’t trade to the AFC accurate? (AB)
I actually think Ballad would be wise not to. I'm a strong proponent of value and think his strategy of drafting and making low cost strategic acquisitions is a winning strategy. Paying Bell would be the Grigson thing to do.
