Greetings. This will be my first time playing keeper league and I'm torn on which players to keep. Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
League Settings: 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1 TE, 1FLEX (WR/RB), 1K, 1DEF, 6 Bench
Here is my keepers & their drafted position:
McCoy - 1st Rd
Gronk - 2nd Rd
D Cook - 3rd Rd
T Hill - 4th Rd
M Bryant - 5th Rd
S Watkins - 6th Rd
E Sanders - 7th Rd
C Newton - 8th Rd
D Henry - 9th Rd
C Davis - 10th Rd
T Ginn Jr - 11th Rd
D Washington - 12th Rd
S Bradford - 13th Rd
Lutz - 14th Rd
TB Def - 15th Rd
Based on your rules I think I'd try to keep an RB. They seem to have a bump in value based on how many you start and how many you can possibly start. There are a couple of options I like - Cook for a third and Henry for a 9th.
Obviously Henry posts a potential huge value for that round, but the addition of Lewis put a damper on that this offseason. Henry's ranking is way down on our list in the 30s (which I just noticed) while Cook is a top-10 RB. I would go with Cook. He seems safer and that's important when it comes to a keeper. Cook's ADP is the 2nd round so it's still a value to keep him for a third. That would be my selection.
