League Details - 4pt pass td, 6pt rush and rec td. Standard scoring
I have the 6th pick in the draft
Every team gets to keep one player in this league and whatever round you drafted that player in last year is the round that you lose this year (ex: Draft in the 15th round last year you would lose your 15th round pick this year). Here are my options. . .
Zeke - Round 1 Pick 6 (was a no brainer until the suspension talk, no I am scared)
Powell - Round 7
Julio - Round 1 Pick 6
Demaryius Thomas - Round 3
Marcus Mariota - Round 12
My thoughts originally thought, since my league ALWAYS goes rb heavy, was to keep Zeke in round 1. But now with the suspension talks I feel I have other value to consider. Thoughts?
I heard Adam Schefter talking to a local Philly ESPN station Wednesday morning and he's kind of thinking there may be a suspension. He doesn't know anything, just a hunch. Said the league has been looking into this for about a year. He said Cowboys think he's in the clear but it seems like his gut is telling him there may be something to this.
I don't think I would let it stop you from protecting him. I can see this being 1 or 2 games, even if he gets 3 or 4 and it's reduced, etc. I still think it's worth keeping him even losing your first.
I'm not sure when you have to decide by, but I'm sure we'll find this out before the season so Julio is a nice fall-back plan, even Powell has some potential. But I think you can count on Zeke unless the suspension is something crazy, but even 1 or 2 games I'd still go with him I think.
