SF TE George Kittle - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Washington Commanders

George Kittle had a great game against the Ravens on Monday night, catching seven of the 10 balls thrown his way for 126 yards, including a big 58-yard gain that set the 49ers up in Baltimore territory before an interception ended the drive. Kittle has double-digit PPR fantasy points in seven of his last nine games and has big-play upside every week.

This week, Kittle has a nice matchup against a Washington defense that ranks 21st in aFPA to opposing tight ends. With his upside in the San Francisco offense and a vulnerable defense next on the docket, Kittle should be active as an elite fantasy TE1 option in all leagues.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Baltimore Ravens

George Kittle caught just two of his four targets against the Cardinals last week, finishing with 54 yards in a lopsided San Francisco victory. Kittle has at least 50 yards in seven of his last eight games and he has three touchdowns in that span as well. He is a big play threat at the position and worth his volatility at fantasy football’s most stingy position.

This week, Kittle faces a Baltimore defense that ranks 10th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. He gets enough targets to warrant starting every game, even in difficult matchups, so keep him active in what could be the game of the week.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Arizona Cardinals

George Kittle caught three of his five targets for 76 yards including a 44-yard touchdown against the Seahawks last week. Kittle has six touchdowns this season, including three in his last five games. He remains one of the most talented players at his position and has had no trouble developing a nice rapport with quarterback Brock Purdy.

This week, Kittle faces an Arizona defense that ranks 10th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. While it’s better to attack the Cardinals with wide receivers, we expect Kittle to still put up solid TE1 numbers. Start him.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Seattle Seahawks

George Kittle caught four of his six targets last week against the Eagles, gaining 68 yards. He now has 735 yards on the season, and he’s on pace for his third career 1,000-plus yard campaign, and his first since 2019. Kittle is part of an excellent offense and is averaging 5.6 targets per game, giving him tremendous upside in any given week.

This week, he’ll face a Seattle defense that ranks 15th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. He struggled against the Seahawks just a couple of weeks ago. While Kittle is a bit inconsistent at times, he’s an elite fantasy option and should be active in all leagues. Start him.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Philadelphia Eagles

George Kittle struggled on Thanksgiving in a lopsided victory over the Seahawks, He caught three of his five targets for a mere 19 yards after putting up big fantasy numbers in each of the previous four weeks. Kittle has been mostly productive this year, but he’s still prone to an occasional off week.

This week, Kittle faces a Philadelphia defense that ranks 11th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Despite the tougher matchup, Kittle is a must-start in a game that should feature plenty of scoring. Kittle’s talent and targets make him worth starting as an elite fantasy option, despite his occasional down weeks. This should be a bounce-back performance for the veteran.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Seattle Seahawks

George Kittle had a great game against the Buccaneers last week, catching eight of his nine targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. It was his second straight game with a touchdown, and he now has five on the year. Kittle is averaging 108 yards over his last four outings, and it’s good to see him clicking again with Brock Purdy. Last season, Kittle was the fantasy TE1 after Purdy took over the starting job.

This week, Kittle faces a Seattle defense that ranks 12th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. While it’s not the best matchup one can hope for, Kittle’s position in the offense and ability to explode in any given week make him a must-start for fantasy managers. We have him ranked as a top option once again.

SF TE George Kittle - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

George Kittle caught three of his four targets last week in a lopsided victory over the Jaguars, gaining 116 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown catch and run. Kittle has double-digit half-PPR fantasy points in four straight games and seems to be getting back on page with Brock Purdy, with whom he developed a phenomenal rapport with a year ago.

This week, Kittle faces a Tampa Bay defense that ranks 10th in aFPA to opposing tight ends. Despite the tough matchup, Kittle has enough talent and gets enough targets in the San Francisco passing game to warrant starting every week. We have him ranked just outside our top five tight ends for Week 11.
