BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Miami Dolphins

Lamar Jackson had a nice game against the 49ers on Monday night, throwing for 252 yards and a pair of touchdowns in an easy victory for the Ravens. Jackson also rushed for 45 yards and his rushing production continues to pad his fantasy floor. Jackson is in the MVP discussion with the Ravens the favorite to wind up with the number one seed.

This week, Jackson faces a Dolphins defense that ranks 12th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. The Dolphins can put up points - although they have some injury concerns in their receiving corps - so the Ravens will likely need to throw it a bit more in this one than usual. Jackson remains an elite fantasy option with as much upside as anyone in a given week, so fantasy managers should keep him active for their championship matchups.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at San Francisco 49ers

Against a very vulnerable Jacksonville pass defense on Sunday night, Lamar Jackson had pretty pedestrian fantasy numbers. He threw for 171 yards, a touchdown, and a pick. Luckily, he added 97 yards on the ground, salvaging the day for fantasy managers. Jackson has the Ravens in the driver’s seat toward the number one seed in the AFC and he’s firmly entrenched in the MVP conversation as well.

This week, Jackson faces a San Francisco defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. This will be the game of the week, and expect a tough battle on both sides of the football. With Jackson’s rushing production, he’s worth starting every week, but temper expectations against a formidable defense.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Lamar Jackson had a great game against the Rams last week in a thrilling overtime victory for the Ravens. He finished with 316 yards passing, three touchdowns, and a pick. He also added 70 yards on 11 carries, turning in a top-level fantasy day. Jackson now has 644 yards rushing, and 21 total touchdowns - including five rushing - to only six interceptions. He’s right in the thick of the MVP conversation as the Ravens sit atop the standings.

This week, Jackson faces a Jacksonville defense that ranks 28th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. Regardless of matchup, Jackson’s upside and rushing production make him a must-start every week. In a great matchup, we have him ranked once again as an elite fantasy option and he should be active in all leagues.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Lamar Jackson threw for 177 yards and a touchdown before the bye last week in a win over the Chargers, adding 39 rushing yards as well. The Ravens only won by 10 points, but the game wasn’t really that competitive. Baltimore was able to run the ball 35 times - including 11 rushes for Jackson - and their defense controlled the tempo of the game. Jackson hasn’t been the fantasy behemoth of years past, but he’s still very good. He’s the QB9 in fantasy points per game and raises his floor every week with what he does with his legs.

This week, Jackson faces a Rams defense that ranks 28th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. In a great matchup with his usual upside on the ground, Jackson is a must-start in all league formats. Fantasy managers should keep him active as a top-level QB1.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Los Angeles Chargers

Lamar Jackson was efficient last week in a victory over the Bengals. He completed 61.5% of his passes on his way to 264 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also rushed for 54 yards and is now on pace for 827 rushing yards this season. The Ravens have been wildly inconsistent and difficult to peg, but they can sure score in bunches and Jackson has been able to largely avoid turning the ball over. He has 17 touchdowns - including five on the ground - compared to just five interceptions this season.

This week, Jackson has a fantastic matchup against the Chargers, who rank 31st in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks and are now without Joey Bosa for the foreseeable future. Jackson is a must-start every week due to his rushing upside, but he’s extra enticing in this great matchup. Keep him active in all leagues.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Lamar Jackson threw for 223 yards and a touchdown in a disappointing loss to the Browns last week. He added 41 yards rushing, but he also threw a pair of interceptions, including a pick-six that got the Browns back in the game. Jackson has struggled to put up big fantasy numbers through the air this season, but he’s still rushing at a nice clip. He’s averaging 48.1 yards per game on the ground and has five rushing touchdowns on the year.

This week, Jackson faces a Bengals defense that ranks 18th in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks and just allowed a good fantasy outing to C.J. Stroud last week. Jackson continues to have extremely high upside in any given week due to his rushing production, so fantasy managers should keep him active. We have him ranked once again as an elite fantasy option.

BAL QB Lamar Jackson - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Cleveland Browns

The Ravens are rolling, but Lamar Jackson is struggling to put up big fantasy numbers as Gus Edwards has rumbled his way to six touchdowns over the last three games combined. Jackson finished last week’s thumping of Seattle with just 187 yards passing, though he added 60 yards on 10 rushing attempts. Despite only nine touchdown passes this season, Jackson has added five on the ground and is on pace for 831 rushing yards on the season.

This week, Jackson has a difficult matchup against a Browns defense that ranks fourth in aFPA to opposing quarterbacks. As long as he keeps running, he should be able to supplement his passing numbers with quality fantasy production on the ground, making him a must-start every week. For what it’s worth, Jackson destroyed the Browns earlier this season, throwing for a pair of touchdowns and adding two more on the ground. Start him.
