Scouting report

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Even in a game the Titans trailed virtually the entire time, Dontrell Hilliard only mixed in for one carry and two targets in Week 13 against the Eagles. He is not a viable fantasy option unless Derrick Henry suffers an injury requiring Tennessee's workhorse to miss games.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Philadelphia Eagles
Dontrell Hilliard only saw two carries and three targets in Week 12 as the Titans' backfield is still dominated by Derrick Henry. Hilliard could have a bigger role than normal this week if the Titans fall behind on the scoreboard on the road in Philly, but that is not something you want to count on for fantasy. Hilliard is not a starting option for fantasy managers in Week 13.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Dontrell Hilliard caught a touchdown in Week 11, but he only played 16% of the offensive snaps and had two total touches. He is strictly a backup option to Derrick Henry and a part-time pass catching specialist, giving him no standalone fantasy value in the Titans' offense.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Green Bay Packers
Dontrell Hilliard only had two touches in Week 10. He is a strict backup to Derrick Henry and will not see much usage barring a severe blowout. Hilliard probably belongs on waivers except in deep leagues where he can be rostered as insurance for Henry's health.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Denver Broncos
Dontrell Hilliard saw four total touches in Week 9 and only managed eight scoreless yards. The only way Hilliard turns in a useful fantasy day is by somehow vulturing a touchdown from Derrick Henry or the Titans facing extreme negative game script, both of which seem unlikely in a projected slugfest against the Broncos this weekend.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Kansas City Chiefs
Dontrell Hilliard had a decent showing in Week 8 with the Titans steamrolling the Texans' pathetic run defense as he racked up 95 total yards on eight carries and a reception. Hilliard's performance was the result of game script more than anything. The story will likely be much different in Week 9 with the Titans traveling to Kansas City to face the vaunted Chiefs, which relegates Hilliard to pure backup status and nothing more than insurance for a Henry injury in fantasy.

TEN RB Dontrell Hilliard - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Houston Texans
Dontrell Hilliard is the clear backup to Derrick Henry, but that role has no standalone value. In Week 7, Hilliard saw one carry and three targets (the same number as Henry). With Hilliard lucky to get five touches in a given week, he is not a realistic fantasy option outside of being a bench stash in deep leagues.
