The Vikings needed a backup QB, and the Broncos had a surplus of them after signing Case Keenum, so a deal has been worked out between the two teams to send Trevor Siemian and a 2018 late-round pick to Minnesota in exchange for a draft pick in 2019.
The former seventh-round pick, Siemian seems to have already exceeded expectations after being a starting QB in Denver. He will now become Kirk Cousins' backup in Minnesota.
DEN QB Trevor Siemian - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook
Week 15 at Indianapolis Colts
In the game versus the Jets last Sunday, Trevor Siemian did not turn the ball over and led his team to a much-needed win. He threw for exactly 200 yards for the second straight week, with one TD toss. While he’s not putting up big numbers, Siemian has been consistent, throwing for between 198 and 207 yards during his past four starts. It’s a quick turnaround with the game on Thursday night at Indy. The Colts just sloshed through the snow in an overtime loss at Buffalo and are allowing over 250 passing yards per game. However, there is very little reason for you to start Siemian this week.
