Scouting report

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Carolina Panthers

Travis Homer missed last week against the Rams with an illness and a knee injury, but he practiced in full Thursday, so he looks like he'll go on Sunday. And with Kenneth Walker and DeeJay Dallas's statuses up in the air, Homer could see some work Sunday, especially in the passing game. He has 45 yards and a touchdown receiving two weeks ago against the Raiders. Keep an eye on Seattle's injury reports this weekend, but Seattle appears headed for a committee, making everyone, including Homer, a low-end flex at best,

Week 10 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Germany

Travis Homer is the handcuff to Kenneth Walker and has been running as the RB2 in Seattle. He caught three passes last week against the Cardinals, but only had one other touch in that game. He doesn't get the volume to be fantasy-relevant here, especially with Tampa pretty good against the run.

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Arizona Cardinals

Travis Homer sneaks into our top-50 backs this week, but this is Kenneth Walker's backfield now in Seattle. Homer has very little fantasy value, though he is getting a little third-down work ahead of DeeJay Dallas now.

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Denver Broncos

Travis Homer should be the primary backup behind Rashaad Penny this week against the Broncos with rookie Kenneth Walker out with a hernia injury. Homer is a nice change-of-pace back who averages 5.9 yards per carry for his career. However, he's unlikely to get much work in this one behind Penny, and the Broncos ranked seventh in aFPA to opposing running backs last year. Homer can remain on waivers for as long as Penny and/or Walker are healthy.

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Texans

Travis Homer had a quiet but explosive day last week against the 49ers. 90 yards on seven touches, including four catches. He's been seeing more action in the passing game of late, with seven catches on nine targets in his last three games played (and we can remove the game against Arizona when he got hurt and only played five snaps). He's a very deep option though and a limited ceiling at that, even against a poor defense like the Texans. But if you had to pick a Seahawks RB in PPR, Homer might be the pick.

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Rams

Homer and DeeJay Dallas were pretty equal on the ground, but Homer was better in the passing game, with 64 receiving yards against the Bills. Seattle will be splitting between Homer and Dallas, with Alex Collins mixed in as well. Homer is more likely to keep seeing targets, but Dallas has the edge in touchdowns. Homer is a back-end flex option.

SEA RB Travis Homer - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Bills

Seattle stayed cautious with Homer last week with his knee injury (one touch). That should improve as he gets closer to 100 percent and he should get more of a closer split in work with DeeJay Dallas, but Dallas' usage in the passing game gives him an edge over Homer. Homer is still a solid flex option as we have him No. 31 among RBs in half-PPR.
