ATL RB Terron Ward - 2017 Fantasy Football Outlook
Terron Ward rushed 31 times for 151 yards in five games last season for the Falcons. If there were an injury to either Devonta Freeman or Tevin Coleman (who is injury-prone), then Ward would step in as the team's No. 2 back. Given how Atlanta loves to rotate its running backs, Ward would see some volume in that scenario.
Ward may not even make the roster if former South Florida quarterback-turned running back B.J. Daniels has a good preseason. Ward is also competing with fifth-rounder Brian Hill, who was the nation's third leading rusher in 2016 for Wyoming.
2017 Bottom Line
It will take a significant injury to either Freeman or Coleman for Ward to have fantasy value. Coleman does have some medical report history and is coming off an ankle injury suffered in the Super Bowl, but regardless, Ward isn't worth an investment on draft night.
