Fantasy Upside
Well, Stephen Gostkowski is a kicker. So there's that. Gostkowski ranks as 4for4's third overall kicker, and he's been on of the top two fantasy kickers in three of the past five seasons, while he hasn't finished a season outside the top 12 kickers since 2010.

Fantasy Downside
Well, Stephen Gostkowski is a kicker. So there's that. He converted 84.4% of his field goals in 2018, a noticeable dip from his 92.5% converted in 2017. He also plays 15 of his 16 games in outdoor stadiums, with his only opportunity in a dome coming in week 12 in Houston.

2019 Bottom Line
While Gostkowski has established himself as one of the most consistent performers at the position, he's still not worth a draft selection before the final two rounds in redraft fantasy leagues. He does retain some value in that his ADP has him ranked as the K4, a notch lower than our projections have him as the K3, so he would be a worthy target if he lasts until the penultimate round of your draft.

Week 19 vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers go west to east for the second consecutive week to take on the Patriots in New England with a trip to the AFC Championship game on the line. New England is a shrinking four-point favorite with a middle-of-the-pack implied team total of 25.5 points. That also puts Gostkowski in the middle of the kicker pack for the divisional round.

Week 17 vs. New York Jets

The Patriots should send their starters out for a full 60 minutes this week in an effort to lock up a first-round bye in the playoffs. New England also has an outside chance at home field advantage with a win and Chiefs and Chargers losses. Because of this, New England is among the highest implied team totals this week at 29.25 points after being installed as almost two-touchdown favorites. That makes Gostkowski a great starting option.

Only Baltimore is averaging more offensive plays per game this season than New England, and only Baltimore and Dallas have more offensive plays over the past three weeks. Plus, this game has an over/under of 52, among the highest of Week 15. Fire up Gostkowski.
