TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Rishard Matthews had a big week, with 6 catches for 95 yards and a score against San Francisco. It's been a rollercoaster kind of season for him, with that game easily being his best since Week 11. Tennessee's passing game has been too erratic to count on from week to week. Matthews shouldn't be used as anything more than a low-end WR3 or FLEX option this week.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at San Francisco 49ers

Rishard Matthews returned to the lineup last week but managed just 3 catches for 19 yards as the entire Tennessee passing game struggled mightily. With Marcus Mariota struggling and added competition for targets, Matthews just isn't producing enough to be a low-end WR3 on a weekly basis, including this week against San Francisco.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals

Rishard Matthews expects to return to the lineup this week after sitting out last week with a hamstring injury. That said, he could draw a lot of Patrick Peterson, which doesn't bode well for him. Hamstrings can be tricky, as well. Only use Matthews as a WR3 if you don't have a better option available.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Indianapolis Colts

Rishard Matthews had a productive day last week, catching 5 passes for 113 yards and a score—a 75-yard bomb to open the second half. He has now scored in two of the past three games and remains Marcus Mariota's top target. He had 4 receptions for 69 yards in Week 6 against the Colts and should be a solid WR2/WR3 option this week.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Pittsburgh Steelers

Rishard Matthews had 5 catches for 50 yards last week, his fifth game this season with more than 3 receptions. That means he's had four games with three, though he hasn't gone below that number. He also has just 2 TD catches this season and the Steelers have given up one WR score in three home games this season. Matthews is a WR3 play this week.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Rishard Matthews continues to plug along, catching 4 passes for 70 yards and his second touchdown of the season last week. The other receivers in the lineup have gotten more hype, but he remains Marcus Mariota's top target. Cincinnati offers a tough matchup, but Matthews should be good to go as a WR3.

TEN WR Rishard Matthews - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Rishard Matthews has at least 3 receptions in every game this season. He also has put up at least 40 yards in all but one game. That places him firmly in WR3 territory, especially since he's not been scoring at the same pace he did last season. There's just too much inconsistency in the Tennessee passing game at this point.
